We have never had more access to talent. Better players, better gear, better production than any generation before us. And yet so many ministries feel thin — impressive on the outside, fragile underneath.
The problem is rarely a lack of skill. The problem is a lack of formation. We have been discipling people's abilities and ignoring their souls.
Talent will get you on the platform. Only formation will keep you there with your character intact.
Formation is slower than talent. It does not photograph well. But it is the only thing that holds when the pressure comes — and the pressure always comes. The next move of God will not be carried by the most gifted. It will be carried by the most formed.
Because worship is a lifestyle.
